New Paediatric Gastroenterologist |

Dr. Rupert Hinds
The Digestive Health Centre would like to welcome Dr. Rupert Hinds, Paediatric Gastroenterologist, to the team.
Rupert commenced working as Paediatric Gastroenterologist at Monash Medical Centre in March 2009.
Prior to this he had worked in the UK as a consultant at King's College Hospital and St. Thomas's Hospital in London from November 2004. |

The Digestive Health Centre proudly owns 3 NBI Gastroscopes and 3 NBI Colonoscopes which assist in identifying and characterising suspicious areas found at Gastroscopy and Colonoscopy. These include: Barrett's scarring from chronic reflux, gastric intestinal metaplasia (scarring from chronic gastritis), dysplasia (pre-cancerous cells), and early stomach cancer, colon cancer (bowel cancer), and colon polyps (bowel polyps). |
