Dr Malcolm Barnes

Dr Malcolm Barnes trained in Gastroenterology at Southern Health before undertaking specialised training in Advanced Interventional Endoscopy including ERCP at the Royal Infirmary in Edinburgh. 

He joined as a Director at the Digestive Health Centre and Gastroenterologist at Southern Health in early 2008.  His interest in luminal gastroenterology includes Quality of endoscopic practice, IBD & Interventional Endoscopy. 

He is married with three young boys and enjoys competing in Triathlons over the summer months.
